Harper’s collegiate career at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, from 1982 to 1986, was nothing short of dominant. He remains Miami’s all-time leading scorer with 2,377 points and also leads in rebounding with 1,119. He was the first player in Mid-American Conference (MAC) history to achieve 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. His exceptional play earned him two MAC Player of the Year awards (1985, 1986) and a consensus second-team All-American selection in 1986.
